Her Story

Courtney Rochelle Sing, age 30, of Sevierville, TN passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.

She was a loving wife and mother. She was a teacher for Sevier County schools and a member of Mt. Vale Church of God. Courtney was very involved with SID awareness and served as a Sevier County ambassador for the Knox Blocks Foundation.

Courtney’s favorite verse was as follows:
“…for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cassie Sing; grandmother, Barbara Osbourne; uncles, Burl and Earl Bryant; Grandmama and Granddaddy; and grandmother, Rosie Manning.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sing; sons, Cayden and Jordon; daughters, Annabeth and Abigail; parents, Phillip and Vicki Ruth; mothers and fathers-in-law, Amy (Mimee) and William (Pappy) Sing, and Mammaw Dolly and Pappaw Tim Ward; brothers, Earl Johnson Jr., John Sing, and Scott Sing; Sisters, Jessica Hawkins (Marty), Salena Johnson, and Tasha Odom; special niece and nephew, Madyson and Mikal Derry; many other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; special friends, Kayla Emmott and Elisha Palmer; and many wonderful friends at Mt. Vale Church of God and Millican Grove Baptist Church.
