Deanna Rose Gioia (nee DiSalvatore), 35 of Annadale passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at her residence.
Born May 14, 1981 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Joseph and Debra DiSalvatore. She was the wife of Richard Gioia for the past 5 years and was the loving mother to their daughter Adrianna Rose.
She was the beloved sister to Joseph DiSalvatore and his wife Sarah. Deanna was the adored grandaughter of Sadie Marino. She especially loved spending time with her nieces Jillian and Ava. She was the dear daughter in law to Virginia and Richard Gioia.
Deanna has worked at Staten Island University Hospital North for the past 15 years and became a nurse 3 years ago on 3A. She was a graduate of Tottenville High School as well as St. Paul’s School of Nursing.
Besides spending time with her family Deanna enjoyed going shopping, going to the beach and most of all spending time with her daughter. Above all else she was an amazing wife, devoted nurse and forever friend who always put others before herself.
