Felicia Hightower Robinson, 33, of Rockford, IL died Thursday, May 20, 2004, in Swedish American Hospital due to complications of childbirth.
She was born February 10, 1971, in Lexington, MS to Howard Hightower, Jr. and Mary M. Hightower. She accepted Christ at an early age and remained faithful until death.
Felicia graduated from J.J. McClain High School in Lexington, MS and received an associate’s degree in Social Services from Mary Holmes Community College in West Pointe, MS. She also received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Valley State University, Itta Bena, MS. She continued her studies in Early Childhood Education in Milwaukee, WI.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dewayne Robinson; two daughters Mary Mieicia Shotwell and Destny Imya Robinson, a stepdaughter; Makiah Robinson all of Rockford, IL her father; Howard (Cynthia) Hightower, Jr., of Pass Christian, mother May M. Hightower of Rockford, IL, four brothers, David (Mildred) Hightower, Sr., Marvin (Jeredean) Hightower, Sr., both of Rockford, IL Dean (Monica) Dedeaux of Huntsville, AL, and Shawn Dedeaux of Pass Christian, one sister; Stacie Dedeaux also of Pass Christian; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
