Who She Was

Her Story

Krista Moody March 30, 1965 – October 3, 2010

Krista went home to be with the Lord Sunday after complications giving birth to her beautiful daughter Ariana who joined her two days later. Krista was the wife of Brian P. Moody of Visalia, a mother to Brenevan Haverly, and stepmother to Brett and Cody Moody.

A former resident of Seattle, WA. with a career as a retail specialist in commercial real estate with CB Richard Ellis, she continued work from her home in Visalia, CA.

Krista touched the lives of everyone she met with her beautiful smile, her heart for people and those in need. She was an advocate for injustice, childrens rights, abused women and wanted to bring justice to the market place. She left a legacy of love for life, giving abundantly, sharing the word of faith, and encouraging others to excel and succeed.

Krista made people want to be a better person; she lit a room when she entered and left heart tracks when she left. Her husband Brian was her fairytale come true. The cowboy and the princess who rode off together on a horse in the sunset and loved each other deeply and unconditionally. She was a mother who constantly guided her son to be authentic, ambitious and put the love of God above all else.

She is survived by her husband Brian, her sons, her mother Sonia Gray of Westport, WA, her father Scott Haverly of Puyallup, WA., her sister Summer Hutton, and brother Steve Haverly of Tacoma, WA. Devon Haverly of Houston, TX and the Phillip and Louise Moody family of Visalia and the Chris and Ruth LeSourd Family of Seattle, WA.
