Dear Lar It has been over twenty years since October 7, 2005 the day the world changed, and the day you had to leave. Time has moved on, and so much has changed, but my love for you hasn’t aged a single day. I still hear your laughter. Sometimes, out of nowhere, a memory of us will catch me off guard, and for a fleeting second, it feels like you’re sitting right next to me. You are never forgotten. Your name is still spoken, your face is still vivid in my mind, and your place in my heart is entirely untouched by time. I like to think that wherever you are, you are at peace, and that somehow you can feel the love I am sending your way. Until we meet again, I’ll keep holding onto the love we shared. Sarah Vang
