Her Story
Raechel Marie Huntley, age 17, of Sidney, IA, formerly of Hamburg, IA, passed away on Thursday; October 12, 2017, at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, ten days after giving birth to a baby girl, Natalee Rae-Lyn Marie Booher. Natalee was born on October 2, 2017 to Raechel Huntley and Jeremy Booher. She was called to be an angel of God on October 7, 2017.
Raechel Marie Huntley was born on October 17, 1999 in Council Bluffs, IA to RaeAnn Huntley and Tom Holcomb. She attended school in both Hamburg and Shenandoah, and was to graduate from Shenandoah High School in May.
She worked at several businesses in Hamburg, and most recently at the Wendy’s in Percival, IA.
Raechel and Natalee are survived by Raechel’s boyfriend and Natalee’s father, Jeremy Booher of Sidney, IA. Other survivors include: Raechel’s mother, Rae Ann Huntley of Shenandoah, IA; father, Tom Holcomb of Essex, IA; brothers: Dillion (Katie) of Colberg, Tommie, Gabe and Lucas of Shenandoah; sister Taylor of Shenandoah; grandmother Linda Huntley of Hamburg; great-grandfather Jim Huntley of Stanton; uncles: Kenny Huntley of Hamburg, and Jamie (Rhonda) Huntley of Grand Island, NE; Natalee’s grandfather Charles Clark and numerous other family members, co-workers, classmates, and many friends.
Raechel and Natalee were preceded in death by Raechel’s great-grandmother Donna Lou Huntley in 1989; cousin Jason Joseph Huntley; and friends Jake Miller and Alice Peterson.
