Like a shooting star that passed too quickly, Samantha Leigh Patton, age 33, passed away November 14, 2025 at Houston Northwest Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She was born on December 18, 1991, in Houston, Texas, a daughter of Patricia Patton.
Samantha enjoyed bringing happiness and joy to those around her. Her assistance as a notable florist during the last fourteen years, was well accomplished. Starting as a general clerk for the Kroger company, she slowly moved up within the company with her great customer service skills to the Floral Department. Samantha was promoted to become a Floral Lead at her own store because of her drive, training, and determination. She had a love for wild flowers and the artistic creativity of designing floral arrangements for the seasons of life.
Outside of Samantha’s job, she enjoyed gardening, art, camping, and animals. Her most notable trait was bringing a smile to those she loved most. Samantha’s soft and calm nature will be missed by many. Becoming a mother was her greatest joy and a dream fulfilled. She was a loving mother to her newborn son, Calcifer.
Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Patton and Doris Patton, her uncle Michael Patton.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Patton; sister, Jennifer (Joseph) Jackson; brother(s) Aieden and Patrick; her husband Donald Pechacek; son Calcifer Pechacek; six cats Handsome, Toby, Snowflake, Phantom, Sasha, and Oreo.
