Her Story
Stashon Ruthann Smith, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Lankenau Medical Center due to complications from childbirth. Just two days prior, on November 19th, she welcomed her sweet baby boy into the world.
Stashon was born in Chester, PA on December 9, 1988. She attended and graduated from Coatesville Area Senior High School. She enjoyed singing and acting, and loved watching Disney movies. She was a member of Coatesville Bible Fellowship Church. Stashon will be remembered for her kind spirit, and her ability to be friends with anyone and everyone.
Surviving Stashon is her baby boy, Micah Smith, her parents Mary Durham and Eric Burruss, siblings Carl Smith, Emily Durham and Malakhi Burruss, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Nicole Smith.
