    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Kristi Marie Couvillon-Wise was born on September 20, 1974 and went to be with Our Lord after a long battle with postpartum depression. She is survived by her loving husband John Wise, her beautiful daughter Vivienne Grace Wise, her mother and stepfather Donna & Paul Kreuzer, her father Edward Couvillon, in addtion to numerous other family members and friends.

    Kristi was born in Texas City, TX and lived a good portion of her early life in Missouri City, TX. She received her B.A. from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, her Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas, and passed the State Bar of Texas after having graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 2005. She was a strong advocate for social justice helping win a case at the Supreme Court while working with the Texas Defender Service. Her awards and accomplishments are voluminous and speak volumes of her dedication to the service of others.

    Her kindess and generosity towards others was extended to her family, friends, and pets (all of whom were rescued). She may have described herself best as – “daydreamer turned social worker turned lawyer. loves music, dancing, and running. adores pit bulls and ornery cats. obsessed with midnight blue bubble tea. loves the way mountain laurels smell in spring when the wind blows through them.” Her vivacious smile and laughter will be missed by all.

    Words cannot describe the severity of the loss to her family and friends, but also to the countless number of people whose lives she impacted or would have impacted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Jill E. Harrington Hanzalik, 33, and her infant son, Chase Thomas Hanzalik, of 96 Ellis Brook Rd., West Dover, and formerly of Bernardston, Mass., died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.

    Born in Greenfield, Mass., on Sept. 4, 1976, daughter of Philip Harrington and Wendy Dubois, she was a graduate of Pioneer Valley Regional School in 1994, and a 1998 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

    She married Joseph Hanzalik on May 16, 2009, in West Dover.

    She had worked for the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and the National Basketball Association in business development, events, and attractions, working very closely with the U.S. Olympic Basketball Team. At the time of her death, she was employed at New Chapter in Brattleboro, in management.

    She was a wonderful wife and very close to her entire family including aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was the love of Joe’s life.

    Jill is survived by her husband; her father, Philip Harrington and his wife, Sharon, of Turners Falls, Mass.; her mother, Wendy Dubois, of Bernardston; two brothers, Adams and his wife, Kearstin, of Bernardston, and Kevin and his wife, Kelly, of West Dover; two stepsisters, Leighann Parda and Angela Whelan; her father and mother-in-law, Joanne and Thomas Hanzalik, of Albany, N.Y.; two brothers-in-law, Matthew Hanzalik and his wife, Tamara, of Albany, and Thomas Hanzalik of Albany; and nieces and nephews, Jayden, Aiden, Addison and Liam.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Shane was a 2000 graduate of Vanderbilt University and was Senior Manager, Mobile at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Crystal Marie Grimes, our beloved daughter, went to heaven to be a heavenly angel with her daughter, Brooklyn Arrianna Grimes by her side, on Saturday, March 27, 2010.

    Crystal was born January 23, 1980 in Guilford County and had lived in the High Point and Trinity areas all of her life. She had taken business courses and was going to begin classes this spring at GTCC to obtain her CNA certification. Crystal was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to the beach, going to drag races and enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

    Crystal was loved by many, especially her mom, dad, daughter, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Floyd Buford Grant and Donald Ray Hayden.

    Survivors include her mother Robin Hayden and husband Dane, of Trinity; daughter Desiree Nicole Ritenour; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Grant, of Archdale; paternal grandmother, Peggy Hayden, of High Point; aunts, Kathy Glenn and husband, Jimmy of Randleman, and Renee Ayscue and husband Jerry, of Trinity; and uncles, Dean “Hoppy” Grant, of Archdale, and Jimmy Hayden and wife, Kim, of Thomasville.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
