    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Jacie Cochran, age 26 of Cashion, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July 2, 2020. Jacie Ann Stephens was born April 12, 1994 in Norman, the younger of two daughters born to Jay and Lea Ann Stephens. Jacie grew up in Washington, and attended Washington Schools, graduating with the Warrior Class of 2013.

    Like most girls there, Jacie dreamed of playing softball for the Lady Warriors and eventually in college. She mostly enjoyed cutting up in the locker room and long bus rides with her teammates. Her drive and competitive spirit made her a natural leader. Her first team was the Washington Slammers, followed by years of travel ball with the Drillers, Twisters, Ultimate, Jitterbugs and the Tulsa Eagles. Each team presented new challenges and Jacie embraced each challenge. As a catcher, Jacie was named All State, and won Championships for the Lady Warriors in slow pitch, and was a valued member of the fast pitch team. Her dream of playing at the next level become a reality when she signed with Emporia State University, a power program in the MIAA Conference. Jacie once again embraced the moment, and before leaving Emporia State, she was named Rookie of the Year, and Two Time MIAA All Conference. Her leadership was never more apparent, than when she accepted an invitation to serve on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She stepped out of her comfort zone and overcome some natural fears, and learned so much about herself.

    By chance one night, at an organization event, she met an aspiring young football coach from Cashion, OK. His name was Cale Cochran, and the rest as they say, is history. They shared so much in common, from their upbringing to their approach to life, and they were a perfect match. On July 3, 2018, Jacie and Cale were united in marriage in Edmond, Oklahoma. Life was exciting for Jacie in this new life chapter. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree from Emporia and began a new career with Paycom. Again, her drive and determination helped her quickly advance in promotions.   With each promotion come new opportunity, and she travelled the country promoting the company, with the ultimate goal in management.

    Throughout all of her life, Jacie remained true to one thing above all others. Her family. She was a small-town girl and she loved coming home to Washington. Jacie and Lea Ann were the best of friends, and whether it was a family vacation in Destin, Disney World, camping and riding ATV’s in Colorado, a girl’s day shopping or just some quiet family time, Jacie knew there was no place like home. She always remained true to self. She loved sno cones and donuts, hanging out poolside with her sister Stephanie, and who could forget her rap music. More recently, she tackled the game of golf, and looked forward to playing with Cale. Nearly year ago, Jacie stepped up to the plate again. This was a new challenge though, as she found out she would become a mother. And like every time before, Jacie owned the moment. She had big plans and looked forward to being a mother to Jaxon Jay. And her last big hit was her very best ever.

    Jacie was preceded in death by:
    Her grandparents, James and Becky Crawford and Ralph Stephens.
    She is survived by:
    Her best friend soul mate, Cale Cochran and their beautiful baby boy, Jaxon Jay, of the home;
    Her parents, Jay and Lea Ann Stephens of Washington;
    Sister, Stephanie Stephens of Washington;
    Father and mother-in-law, Chris Cochran and wife Kerry of Cashion;
    Brothers-in-law, Cayden Cochran and wife Sam, and their children,
    Posey Rhea and Brady Lyn of Emporia, Trae Cochran of Stillwater and
    Case Cochran of Emporia;
    Grandmother, Lois Stephens of Washington; Great grandmother, Juanita Griggs of Purcell; Several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of other family and friends.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-story”]

    Charlsie Marie Swadley, 34, entered into the gates of heaven at 5 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17.

    Charlsie suffered an amniotic fluid embolism on Dec. 11, 2014, during child birth. Her sweet baby, Lilian Rose, passed away shortly after, but Charlsie survived the complication and suffered severe brain damage as a result. After 37 days on life support, she was at last called home to her maker.

    Charlsie was born on July 7, 1980, in Matehuala, Mexico, to Peter and Teresa Cawthon. She spent her childhood years residing in Oaxaca, Mexico, with her parents and younger brother, Peter Cawthon IV, where they served on the mission field.

    After graduating high school, Charlsie moved away to San Antonio, Texas, to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio.

    Soon after, she met and married Michael Swadley on May 14, 2001. Their wedding was an intimate gathering in Huatulco, Mexico, attended by both their immediate families.

    Charlsie graduated from UTSA with a degree in early childhood development.

    Michael and Charlsie moved back to Oaxaca to rejoin her parents on the mission field, where they served alongside them for a few years.

    They moved back to Texas in 2007, where they lived briefly in Kerrville, Texas, and eventually moved to Tomball, Texas, where they currently resided with their seven children.

    Charlsie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a true portrait of what Proverbs 31 describes as being a Godly woman. She was honest, genuine, driven and poured herself out diligently for her husband and children.

    Charlsie loved her life as a stay-at-home mother, as well as home school teacher to her seven children. Always patient and full of grace, Charlsie modeled motherhood in a way that many others admired. She cared very deeply about her family as well as friendships, and she was always ready to help them at a moment’s notice.

    On top of mothering, teaching and being a helpmate to her husband, she always took special care in providing herself and her family with the most holistic, natural lifestyle.

    Charlsie is survived by her husband, Michael Swadley; and their seven children, Micah (11), Maddie (9), Lainey (7), Josiah (6), Uriah (4), Asher (3) and Amelia (almost 2). She also is survived by her parents, Peter Cawthon III and Teresa Cawthon; brother, Peter Cawthon IV; grandparents, Peter Cawthon II and Charlsie Cawthon; aunts and uncles, David and Nancy Cawthon and Mark and Celia Cawthon; and cousins, Josh Cawthon, Rose Clark, Gabe Mateos, Cristina Holcomb, Ana Wells, Tim Cawthon, Chris Cawthon, Katie Cheatheam and Kellie Cawthon.

    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Heather Ann Hussey Shober, 31, loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, passed away unexpectedly May 31, 2019, from an amniotic fluid embolism after giving birth to a perfect baby girl.

    Heather was born on September 4, 1987, to Ray and Nancy Hussey in Murray, UT, and raised in Roosevelt, UT. On August 5, 2010, she married the love of her life, Nick, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, Nick and Heather built a wonderful life and are blessed with three beautiful children.

    Heather attended Southern Utah University where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was devoted to her callings. She lived for Nick and her children, and her guiding spirit lives on through them.

    Heather loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother. Her easygoing and loving nature assured her many lifetime friends. She had a fun-loving personality and was always one to reach out to others. Those who knew her could always rely on Heather to be a listening ear and count on her to provide an honest and kind opinion. She truly was an amazing example of giving and was always helping others in large and small ways. As her numerous friends and family know, Heather was the queen of hand written thank-you notes, a lost art that she valued. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She loved chatting with friends, cooking, participating in her Bunco Group, doing home projects with Nick, boating with her family and supporting her kids in their many activities. She was a nutrition educator and loved working and spending time with her co-workers. At the end of the day, if asked what her greatest accomplishment was, with a glint in her eye, she would simply say “My family”.

    Heather is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Nick; children Maylee (5), Boston (3), and Devri (newborn); parents Ray and Nancy Hussey; brothers Tyler (Angela) and Mitch (Megan); parents-in-law Bob and Linda Shober; sister-in-law Bree (Nick) Dodge; nieces and nephews Eli, Claire, Logan, Bridger, and Brooklyn; and numerous family and friends. Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-story”]Tara Deanne Dixon was born on December 23, 1990 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Nicole Mackey and Jason Hays. Tara went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 24 years of age.

    The former Miss Tara Hays graduated from Coweta High School in 2009 and went on to attend Nursing School at Tulsa Community College. On June 8, 2010, Tara married Christian Dixon in Coweta, Oklahoma. Tara was a dedicated mother and wife. She was a beautiful person whose mission in life was to bring others to know God. She surrounded herself with good people and always strived to be a better Christian, as well as a better person. She loved being around her friends, family, and, of course, her husband Chris–who was her world. She would have done anything and everything to make him happy. She exemplified how to be a great wife and friend. She put a smile on everyone’s face. She also loved going to school. It was important to her to be successful in life for her children one day. She also loved her dog, Jak Jak, and her mom’s sweet tea. She would always call and make sure someone was watching after him if she was going to be home late. She was so excited and so nervous for Asher to be here. She loved him so very much. She even wanted to keep her big belly so she could continue to feel him move inside her. She talked to him every single day and wanted him to be the cutest baby ever. She was going to be an incredible mother and wanted to be just like her own mom. She is now watching over each and every one of us, especially Asher and Chris and is so loved by so many people.

    Tara is survived by husband Christian Dixon; son, Asher Dixon; parents, Nicole Henderson and husband Ralph, Jason Hays and wife Kimberly; sisters, Chalin Schultz and Taylor Schultz; brothers, Cody Hays and wife Brooke, Austin Schultz, Chris Goins; grandparents, Harley and Margaret Mackey, Dorsey Bolding, and Gloria Hays.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
