Her Story
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Lynn Welker was born on September 15, 1977 in San Jose, CA. Two years later her mother brought her to the Philippines where she was raised. Her mother brought Lynn and her sister Fe back to the U.S. in 1990. Lynn attended Thomas Russell Middle School in Milpitas, CA and then attended Milpitas High school from 1991-1995. While in high school, Lynn met Eric Welker during her first year of NJROTC, a high school military program developed by the U.S. Navy.
Lynn studied early childhood development at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA, earning an associate degree and teaching credential. She worked at Mission and cared for infants and worked with toddlers. Lynn was passionate about learning and devoted her life to the education of her own children.
