    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Morgan Aubrey Hughes, age 23, passed away on December 28, 2024, at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. A resident of Benjamin, Utah, Morgan was a bright and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Born to Brian Lawrence and Christine Elise Hodson, Morgan was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, and mother. She was cherished by her grandparents, David and Lisa Butler, and Dennis and Diane Hodson, along with her brothers, Justin (and his wife Tiara) and Kaden, and several uncles, aunts, and extended family.

Morgan married the love of her life, Samuel Craig Hughes, on April 15, 2023. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. She was the devoted mother to their two children, Hudson Samuel Hughes and Georgia Elise Hughes, who were the light of her life and the fulfillment of her greatest dream: to be a mom. She often said it was “the most perfect job.”

A 2020 graduate of Lone Peak High School, Morgan went on to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas McAllen Mission, where she served Spanish- and ASL-speaking communities. She served faithfully and loved the people of McAllen, building strong and meaningful relationships with those she taught. Every companion she served with claimed Morgan was their favorite.

After her mission, she pursued her passion for the beauty industry and graduated from The Forum Academy in 2024. With her talent, creativity, and dedication, she had recently embarked on building her dream business, Bluebonnet Curls, with a mission to help others feel confident and beautiful.

Morgan’s radiant smile, compassionate heart, and endless love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Morgan adored everything about Christmas and treasured the opportunity to create lasting memories with her family. She also loved country music and the beach. Her kindness, loyalty, creativity, and unwavering love for her family and friends made her a source of inspiration and joy to all who knew her.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-story”]Mindy Lee Hilton Fowlke of Spanish Fork Utah, left her earthly life after a courageous battle with postpartum psychosis and returned to her Father in Heaven on Wednesday December 6, 2017.

She was born in Cottonwood Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT on June 27, 1982 to Gary and Kengie Hilton. She was married to her sweetheart, Shane Clark Fowlke, for time and all eternity on May 31, 2003 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, UT.

Mindy was one of the most amazing women you could have ever known. She was a daughter, sister, friend, wife, and mother. She was genuine and pure. She was light hearted and had a personality that just bubbled over, brightened, and lifted those around her. She was full of energy and had a zest for life. She was absolutely hard to keep up with! Her smile was beautiful and completely contagious! She noticed the little things and found joy in them. She was deeply loyal to her family and friends and was always looking for ways to lift others. She reached out to those who needed. She had no judgment within her, she was understanding, and was able to show empathy easily.

Her happy place was anywhere her family was, but especially in the mountains. She loved the outdoors fiercely and almost could not be contained inside! She loved long walks, morning runs, and just breathing the fresh air. She and Shane took their family camping as much as was possible. The mountains were their home away from home! She loved her sweet labradors, gardening, a new found love of sewing, and creating a beautiful home for her family.

She was a wife and mother. Those were the titles she cherished the most. She was beaming with pride and joy over each of her children. She was so playful with them, attentive, and loving. Each of them believed that they were her favorite…they were right. She adored Shane. She was so proud of him in every way. He was truly her “everything”. She believed in him…and still does. She trusted him completely…and still does. He absolutely had her heart…and still does. She will always be right by his side as he continues this journey with their 6 beautiful children. She will be right by their sides too in the small quiet moments of their lives and she’ll be right there celebrating those big ones too!

Mindy was the 5th of eleven children. Her parents were overjoyed at her arrival! She has 5 sisters and 5 brothers. She was her sister Kimberli’s “twin” four years apart. They shared the same birthday and Kim made sure that the world knew that she would be coming on her birthday! She absolutely loved her parents and siblings and would take any chance she could to be with them. She was one of the most bouncy uncontainable bright spots in the family! She loved her family so much! She loved making the memories we share together. As she leaves, each of her siblings and her parents have no doubt that she loved them unconditionally and huge!!

Mindy was a truly devoted follower of Christ and loved her Father in Heaven in a very very deep way. She had such a personal relationship with both of Them. Her greatest desire in this life was to please Them and be Their warrior. We have no doubt that she will be on the front lines of the battle that is raging between good and evil here on this earth as she moves on. She is a fighter and a fierce competitor especially for that which is good and right. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her testimony is strong and unfailing. She built it daily, never forgetting to study and pray. She knew exactly who she was!

She was so excited to be called “mother” by each of her 6 children. They brought her immense joy and gave her love and life. We know that she will greatly miss being here with Hunter Shane (13), Wyatt Todd (11), Zachary Kenneth (8), Kyler Clark (5), Alyssa Kay (4), and Lily Valoy (2).

She ran through life with her siblings, Alona Reynolds (Aaron) of Cedar Hills UT, Kendra Bullinger (Shawn) of Burlington WY, Kimberli Hughes (Chris) of American Fork UT, Shane Hilton (Megan) of Tempe AZ, Tyler Hilton (Emily) of Montrose CA, Jacob Hilton (Shannon) of Mesa AZ, Analynn Mackprang (Chris) of Eagle Mountain UT, Jared Hilton (Lauren) of Lehi UT, Joseph Hilton of Provo UT, and Sarah Hilton of Cedar Hills UT. Her parents, Gary and Kengie Hilton reside in Cedar Hills UT.

She loved Shane’s family and was so happy to be a Fowlke. She takes wonderful memories with her of Shane’s parents, Clark and Valoy Fowlke of Woodland Hills UT, and of Ryan Fowlke (Ambre) of Beaver UT, Adam Fowlke of Payson UT, Tyler Fowlke of Springville UT, Cody Fowlke (Amanda) of Orem UT, and Brooke Palmer (Trevor) of Santaquin UT.

She loved and adored the 33 nieces and nephews that she has and she made sure that each one knew it! She loved the sweet relationship she had with her grandparents Dorothy Virginia Riley of Orem UT and A. Eugene Hilton of Sandy UT. She has many many incredible aunts, uncles, and cousins. She has countless numbers of friends who absolutely love and cherish her.

She was welcomed on the other side into the arms of the loved ones who went before her. She loved her Grandma Lyda Ruth Patten Hilton, Grandpa Kenneth Jones, Grandparents Paul and Zella Williams, Grandparents Ernest and Lola Fowlke, her uncles Kevin Jones, Jeffrey Jones, John Terry Hilton, Todd Williams, and aunt Lynne Vorwaller. We find great peace and comfort knowing they were waiting there to wrap her in their arms.

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-story”]It is with deeply mixed emotions that we as a family announce the passing of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother and friend Bambi Dawn Chugg Thomas, this the 20th day of August, 2003. Bambi was born to Terrie and Ricky Chugg on November 21, 1978.

She was raised primarily in the Roy, Utah area and enjoyed sports with her friends, including softball and basketball. Her true love, though, was dancing. She was a member of the Ogden Dolls at a young age and followed that love through to being a member of the Roy High Royalaries in high school. She also loved to sing and play the piano. Bambi graduated from Roy High School 1997. Later that summer, she competed in and won the Miss Roy crown. Her platform was getting children excited about reading and many children at Roy’s Municipal Elementary School will remember the fun reading contest that she sponsored at their school that year.

After completing her Miss Roy responsibilities, she decided it was time to settle down, and on July 29, 1998, Bambi married her high school sweetheart, Danny Thomas of Roy. Danny’s college basketball scholarships took them to Western Wyoming in Rock Springs and then to Kansas Wesleyan in Salina, KS. Bambi made the best of these moves away from home and met many new friends along the way. A year later, on July 29, 1999, their marriage was eternally solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. With college behind them, Bambi and Danny returned home and just last year were able to get into a home of their own. Bambi worked as the manager of the Roy Standard Optical and was also featured in their TV and newspaper ads. She took a special interest in all the people she came in contact with at the store.

Bambi soon was expecting their first child. On December 24, 2002, Bambi and Danny became proud parents of a beautiful little girl, Ellie Jayne. Shortly after delivery, Bambi went into cardiac arrest from a condition called Postpartum Cardiomyopathy. She was transported to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and was there fitted with a Bi-Vad heart assist device. Bambi was a pioneer with this system and became the first patient in the intermountain region to leave the hospital with a small portable pump driver. She was extremely mobile, and didn’t let having to push the pump around stop her from doing the things she loved with the people she loved.

At the time of her death, she was living with her husband and baby at the home of her parents. Bambi has touched many lives through this ordeal. Her strength and positive outlook were remarkable. Her love goes out to all of you who touched her, especially her adopted little sister, Mikayla. We as a family would like to offer our profound and heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary medical staff at LDS Hospital for the outstanding and compassionate care given to Bambi during her stays. Without them, Bambi wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the past 8 months with Danny, Ellie and all of her family and friends.

Bambi is survived by her husband and daughter, her parents of Roy, Brother Cody, Sister Ashley (Mat) Wilson, In-laws Dan and Shauna Thomas of Roy, Sisters-in-law Amber and Sierra. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Donna Floyd.

Bambi, you are now free to dance and sing with the angels. You are one of them![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Heather Ann Hussey Shober, 31, loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, passed away unexpectedly May 31, 2019, from an amniotic fluid embolism after giving birth to a perfect baby girl.

Heather was born on September 4, 1987, to Ray and Nancy Hussey in Murray, UT, and raised in Roosevelt, UT. On August 5, 2010, she married the love of her life, Nick, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, Nick and Heather built a wonderful life and are blessed with three beautiful children.

Heather attended Southern Utah University where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was devoted to her callings. She lived for Nick and her children, and her guiding spirit lives on through them.

Heather loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother. Her easygoing and loving nature assured her many lifetime friends. She had a fun-loving personality and was always one to reach out to others. Those who knew her could always rely on Heather to be a listening ear and count on her to provide an honest and kind opinion. She truly was an amazing example of giving and was always helping others in large and small ways. As her numerous friends and family know, Heather was the queen of hand written thank-you notes, a lost art that she valued. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She loved chatting with friends, cooking, participating in her Bunco Group, doing home projects with Nick, boating with her family and supporting her kids in their many activities. She was a nutrition educator and loved working and spending time with her co-workers. At the end of the day, if asked what her greatest accomplishment was, with a glint in her eye, she would simply say “My family”.

Heather is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Nick; children Maylee (5), Boston (3), and Devri (newborn); parents Ray and Nancy Hussey; brothers Tyler (Angela) and Mitch (Megan); parents-in-law Bob and Linda Shober; sister-in-law Bree (Nick) Dodge; nieces and nephews Eli, Claire, Logan, Bridger, and Brooklyn; and numerous family and friends.
