Her Story
Brittany Lauren Van Horn was welcomed into the arms of Jesus with her precious baby daughter, Brynlee on Thursday Aug 28, 2014.
Brittany loved and was loved by many people. She had an infectious smile and a love for life. She had a huge heart, always grateful. She loved all creatures great and small, especially her cats, Bailey and Spaz. Brittany’s life was a picture of God’s love and mercy as He transformed her.
Brittany was born on May 11, 1994 in Tucson, Az to Steve and Brenda Van Horn. She is survived by her sister Brooke, who she dearly loved. Being her big sister was one of her greatest joys. Also survived by grandparents, William and Evelyn King, and Don and Tasha Van Horn, aunts and uncles, and several cousins.
Three years ago Brittany met the love of her life, Justin Burkeen. Together, they were excited to welcome their baby daughter, Brynlee Brookelynn Burkeen, into their family. They loved each other deeply and will be greatly missed.
